Burst, leaking and broken pipe repairs
Need a burst, leaking or broken pipe repaired on an occupied commercial site in Melbourne or Victoria? Licensed plumbers turn the water off, protect the area, repair the failed section, pressure-check the rest of the run, and make good the ceiling or wall on the same account if the leak reached it.
- Water turned off and the area protected first
- Failed section repaired, then pressure-checked
- Photos for insurer or landlord files
- Licensed & insured
- 8 trades, one account
- Victoria-wide
What happens when you call

Water off first
The water is turned off and the area protected before any repair starts.

Repaired properly
The failed section is repaired or replaced, not just clamped over.

Rest of the pipe checked
The rest of the run is pressure-tested before we call it done.

Photographed for your file
The failure is documented for your insurer or landlord.

Burst and leaking pipes on occupied sites
Kitchens, plant rooms, ceiling voids and wet areas across Melbourne and Victoria. An active leak is treated as urgent. A stain from last week can go on the form.
The water is isolated first. Then the failed section is repaired back to sound pipe on both sides and the run is pressure-tested. A clamp over the failed spot looks cheaper on the day - if the surrounding pipe is the same age, it is usually delaying the next call-out a few metres along.
One burst can be a knock or a freeze. Two or three in a year usually means the pipework is near the end of its life, and we flag that on the report rather than just fix what is in front of us.

When the leak is in a wall, slab or ceiling
We turn off what water we can from the side we can reach, then take the least destructive way in. Sometimes that is a small opening. Sometimes it needs more access than anyone wants to hear - we tell you which before we cut.
Once water has been running, the pipe is often the smaller part. If electrics got wet, power is turned off and tested on the same job. Ceiling, plaster or flooring make-good sits on the same account.
The failure is photographed for the insurer or landlord. We will not leave water running while an assessor is booked.

Questions we get asked
It depends on access, pipe size and whether the ceiling or wall has to open. We quote once we can see the failure - an active leak is treated as urgent, not a square-metre rate.
Yes. Plaster, paint and a grid tile can sit on the same job as the pipe repair.
We photograph the damage, turn the water off, and write a plain explanation. We will not wait on an assessor if the water is still running.
Yes. Metro Melbourne, the Peninsula, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and regional sites.
We repair to a standard that will last, which sometimes means a short section in a different material with the right fittings. We will not leave a weak joint because it matched the colour of the old copper.
Sometimes no. Isolating that section and opening a small part of the ceiling can keep the rest running. Sometimes yes. We tell you before we cut.
Often. Fatigue, a poorly supported run, freeze in a plant deck, or a knocked valve. If the cause will take out the next joint, we say so.
